Garlick - Director
Alison has worked in the tourism industry
for over 17 years, with extensive experience
in Retail Travel, Outbound Tour Operating,
Sales as well as International Tour Operating
and Ground Handling (UK). Alison started her
career studying tourism and furthered her
studies with Fares courses, GDS courses including
Galileo, Amadeus and Worldspan as well as
TourPlan. After a 2 year sales career with
an outbound Tour Operator Alison decided to
embark on her dream - of opening her own representation
company. Axis Marketing celebrated it's 8th
Birthday in November 2010.

McDonald - National Sales Manager
Lynette started her career in the retail
travel industry in 1981. After a break from travel and a short stint in recruitment,
she completed a BA Communications Degree through UNISA and passed with Honours.
She returned to the travel industry in 1991 and completed a Galileo GDS course
in the same year. Lynette relocated from Johannesburg to Cape Town in 1996 and
has since worked in Conference Sales & Organising, Retail Travel Marketing
and Hotel Marketing. Lynette joined Axis Marketing in February 2007 as Sales Executive
and was promoted to National Sales Manager in March 2009.

Truter - Sales Manager Cape Town
Heidi started her career in PR and Marketing
in Cape Town in 1995 and after 5 years decided to move into the Travel Industry.
She joined Budget Car Rental as the Sales Co-ordinator and then after a year was
promoted to Travel Account Manager calling on Travel Agents and Tour Operators
in the Western Cape. Heidi attended many courses during her 9 years with this
company including EDP 1 and EDP 2 (Executive Development Programme 1 & 2),
also completing a Basic Management course registered with SAQA (South African
Qualifications Authority) and various other Management and Travel related courses.
She received a Club of Excellence Award in 2005 from Brand Pretorius CEO of McCarthy's
and also received Silver top achiever awards as "Travel Account Manager of
the year" in 2006 and 2008. Heidi joined Axis Marketing in April 2009 as
Sales Manager for Cape Town.

Kleinhans - International Sales Manager
Anke graduated in January 2007,
successfully earning a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Business
Marketing from The University of Applied Sciences, Bonn - Germany. Her thesis
covered the impact of the Soccer World Cup 2010 on South African Tourism. Anke
was employed at Axis Marketing in February 2007 as an International Sales Officer
and was promoted to International Marketing Manager in February 2009.

Vos - Outbound Sales Executive
Marissa completed a 4 year Tourism (N4-N6)
as well as a Marketing Management (N4-N6) diploma in December 2006. She then worked
at Stellenbosch Hills Wine Farm to complete her work experience practical and
joined Axis Marketing in May 2008 as an inbound Sales Executive. In January 2009
Marissa took over as Sales Executive for our Outbound Portfolio.

Dianne Casaleggio
- Office Assistant
Dianne worked in banking for 11 Years (Jan
1990 - Sep 2000), she then opened two businesses
with her husband (still operating), and joined
us in August 2010 as an Office Assistant.
